Skin is the organ that covers human body. It prevents bacteria and chemical from entering into the most parts of body further protects underlying tissues from harmful rays of the sun plus temperature of internal levels of the body.
Glands in skin release sweat when a person becomes overheated. It evaporates and so cools the body. When a person becomes too cool, body retains heat by narrowing blood vessels in skin. As a result, flow of blood near surface of the body decreases, and body gives off less heat. Skin has many nerve endings that are sensitive to cold and heat, as well as pain, pressure, and touch. Basically, skin has three layers of tissue called Epidermis, Dermis, and Subcutaneous Tissue and skin color varies greatly among people.
When some areas of skin remains light and others to darken, these darken skin sometimes called age spots or liver spots. The Liver, per Onnuri energy concept controls color of skin!
If a person’s skin is getting bluish mean wind energy in body is excess, and organs affected are Lungs and Large intestine [per new research by the founder Prof. Park of different modalities].
If any part of body is getting red, inflamed, having red spots, rashes, pimples means heat energy is responsible, and skin may be crusty, or fluid may ooze from it and in this case Heart and Small intestine are somehow affected.
If skin color is yellowish means there is an excess energy of humidity and the meridians organs responsible are Spleen and Stomach.
If skin is of pale (white) color means tissues, cells, organs are having excess energy of dryness, and affected organs are Kidney and Urinary bladder [new research].
If skin color is getting black means excess of coldness energy and affected organs are Liver and Gall bladder.
In all the cases dominant energy controlled by Liver [in some cases Lungs too is responsible]. If someone understands energy concept, for such a practitioner skin problem can be controlled, cure, overcome, and even rejuvenate too is possible!
Skin problems like blue-black blotches, skin scars, marks, dampness, sponginess, venous system, outflow impaired, bruises, atopic eczema~ in most cases, it appears on face, back of neck or knees, or inner side of arms.
Acne, most commonly afflicts teenagers, consists of pimples, blackheads, and other blemishes, which seem mainly on face, upper chest, and back.
Bacteria cause infections as boils and impetigo that are painful, red lumps filled with pus.
Dermatitis, contact dermatitis is an allergic reaction to certain substances that a person touches. For example, many people develop a rash after being stung by nettles. Bacteria, fungi, or viruses cause any infections of the skin. Some of these invade body in areas where skin broken; others stay on surface of skin.
Fungi cause such infections as ringworm. Patches of red, scaly, ring-shaped spots characterize common ringworm.
Hives are small, swollen, white or pink spots that itch. Many cases of hives are caused by allergic reactions to certain foods or medicines.
Impetigo, which chiefly afflicts children, causes thin blisters, to erupt on skin that break, and skin becomes crusty.
Mole is a group of pigment cells that form a flat or raised spot on the skin. Most moles are black or brown.
Psoriasis a thick, raised, red patches of skin that are covered with silvery-white scales characterize psoriasis.
Sunburns may be mild or severe. Mild cause skin to turn red, but redness disappears in a few hours or days. Severe produces blistered skin accompanied by chills, dizziness, and fever. Repeated sunburn over a long period may give to development of skin cancer and excessive wrinkling. It can be avoided by use of sunscreen lotions, which block out sun’s burning rays, or by gradual exposure to sun, which results in suntan. Repeated sun tanning also may give to development of skin cancer and wrinkling.
Tumors are abnormal growths of cells that may be benign or malignant. Benign tumors are noncancerous and do not spread through body. Benign tumors of skin include lipoma, moles, and warts. A lipoma is a large, soft lump of fat under surface of skin. Malignant tumors are cancerous. In a process called metastasis, they can invade surrounding tissues or spread to distant parts of body through circulatory system. Malignant tumors of skin include basal cell epithelium, squamous cell carcinomas, and melanomas. A basal cell epithelium is the most common type of skin cancer. It begins as a small, pink lump that slowly enlarges. This type of skin cancer invades and destroys surrounding healthy tissue, but it does not metastasize. A squamous cell carcinoma starts as a thickening or a lump that later break down to form an ulcer with a crust. In some cases, this type of skin cancer metastasized.
Viruses cause cold sores, shingles, and other kinds of infections. Cold sores are blisters that usually appear around the mouth. Shingles are painful blisters that occur primarily on the chest and lower back.
Vitiligo consists of whitish patches of skin that have lost their pigment because melanocytes have been destroyed. Vitiligo is unpleasant because it affects appearance, but it is not painful or dangerous. As a person ages, skin also becomes thinner and drier and so starts to wrinkle. In addition, skin of an old person bruises and chaps more easily and heals more slowly.
Warts, which are caused by a virus, may arise anywhere on the skin. Most warts are raised, rough, and dry, and they do not cause pain. However, plantar warts, which grow on bottom of feet, sometimes press against nerve endings in the dermis and so cause pain.
In lifestyle, skin to revitalize;
•Fresh juice of apricot leaves is useful in skin diseases or eat more apricots
•Hot water flushes out the toxins and opens up pores within the skin. It hydrates skin, indirectly in a way it’s a natural moisturizer as well. That means fewer harmful bacteria in the skin, mean smaller risk for skin infections and other conditions such as acne. Drink at least morning and evening lukewarm water and bath too with lukewarm water whenever possible!

•Skin nourishes; fine lines and wrinkles are deeper when you’re dehydrated. Water is nature’s own beauty cream. Drinking water hydrates skin cells and plumps them up, making face look younger. It also flushes out impurities and improves circulation and blood flow, helping skin to glow. So, absorb in daily life more water!
