Back ache
when driving long distance; one should follow the followings;
•Avoid empty stomach more than three hours
•Avoid sudden bending or twisting movements
•Change the posture frequently to encourage circulation and prevent muscle tiredness
•Distance from seat to foot pedals suits your legs
•Empty bladder immediately after every meal, and never hold urination
•Ensure that vehicle has well-padded seats that helps reduce the amount of vibration being passed up to spine
•Frequent stops helps; often as possible get out, stretch back and walk around a little
•Gastric items to avoid viz only milk, capsicum, mushroom, beans, bringle, black gram (urad dhuli pulse)
•Regularly exercise to help strengthen lower back muscles
•Slowly travel over rough roads
•Support lower back with small cushion or lumbar roll
•Take care when getting in and out of vehicles
•Take heavy objects out of back pockets to reduce twisting forces on lower spine
•Tilt seat backwards to about 110 angels to reduce vertical pressure on spine
•Whenever in movement, activities there’s a feeling of stiffness, pain then take a rest of even 10 seconds, otherwise it may exasperate and damage to the vertebrae.
